Peer Review Process

All articles submitted to Tazkiyyah: Journal of Islamic Education must follow the Focus and Scope and Writing Guidelines for this journal. The submitted manuscript must meet scientific value or novelty in accordance with the focus and scope of this journal. All manuscripts submitted to this journal are written in good English or Indonesian. All submitted manuscripts must be free from plagiarism content. All authors are advised to use plagiarism detection software to check for similarity (please use Turnitin or Plagiarism Checkers X to check for similarity). The editor will also check the similarity of articles submitted in this journal using Turnitin or Plagiarism Checkers software. Manuscripts submitted to this journal will be peer-reviewed by at least 2 (two) or more reviewers from the Review Team. Reviewers provide valuable scientific comments and input to improve the quality of the article. Sometimes (if needed) a second peer reviewer is needed to provide critical comments on the submitted manuscript. The review process used in this journal is a blind peer review system. The final decision on manuscript acceptance is made entirely by the Editor-in-Chief and the Managing Editor (together with the Editorial Board if necessary for consideration) based on critical comments from the reviewers. The final decision on the manuscript is based only on the final review of the Editor and the Editorial Board considering the comments of the peer reviewers (but not only by the reviewers). Publication of accepted articles will be published by the Editor-in-Chief considering the order of receipt date and geographical distribution of authors and their thematic issues.
